KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity verification process that helps keep your Nosh account secure and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Nosh has two levels of verification, each required for specific services.
KYC Level 1: Basic Verification (BVN)
Complete KYC Level 1 to access the following features:
Virtual Bank Account: Required to obtain a virtual bank account for funding your Nosh wallet. The account must be linked to your BVN in line with applicable CBN requirements.
Nosh Gift Code Redemption: You must complete Level 1 verification before redeeming a Nosh Gift Code.
Referral Rewards: KYC verification is required to qualify for rewards through the Nosh referral programme.
KYC Level 2: Advanced Verification
KYC Level 2 is an additional verification process available after completing Level 1. It is required for top-ups of ₦500,000 and above.
To complete Advanced Verification, you will need to provide:
Proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement.
Your occupation.
A valid government-issued ID, such as an international passport, driver's licence, voter's card, or NIN.
Your documents will be reviewed after submission, and you will receive an email notification when your verification is approved or rejected. If rejected, you can resubmit your details.
