Your eSIM may not be working due to a couple of factors. First, note that eSIM only works in the supported countries. So, if you get a local esim for Nigeria, it won’t work in Ghana. Other settings you need to confirm:
Confirm you followed the installation instructions provided correctly. Access My eSIMs on the Nosh app to review the installation instructions.
Make sure your airplane mode is off. It’s one of the most common reasons devices fail to connect to a mobile network.
Some eSIMs need you to manually enter an APN from the installation instructions in the app, though it’s often set automatically. If not, follow the steps under Manual Installation.
You may also need to turn on data roaming. Instructions can also be found under Manual Installation.
On iOS, you can enable roaming for just the eSIM and keep it off for your primary SIM.
On Android, roaming usually applies to all SIMs, so turn off your primary SIM to avoid extra charges.
5. Try switching your network mode. Sometimes your eSIM connects more easily when using a different network mode. If you're trying to use 5G, try switching to 4G/LTE or even 3G instead.
6. If your device supports multiple active SIMs, temporarily disable any other SIMs that might be interfering with your eSIM’s connection. You can do this from the SIM management section in your device settings.
