Physical gift cards: These are actual physical (plastic) cards that are purchased directly from a physical store. To trade this on NOSH, you have to scratch the card and upload the picture.
Additionally, when it comes to Apple gift cards, physical cards are divided into two categories: horizontal and vertical. Horizontal Apple cards generally have lower trading rates compared to vertical/regular Apple cards, which results in differences in credited amounts when traded on NOSH. Choosing the correct category during upload ensures accurate processing.
E-codes: These are digital gift codes purchased online and are mostly sent to the buyer’s email address or gotten as paper codes.
Compared to physical cards, e-codes often have reduced trading rates due to differences in liquidity and market valuation. Properly categorizing e-codes during upload ensures you receive the appropriate credited amount.
To trade this on NOSH, you either have to upload a screenshot of the codes gotten from your mail, upload the paper codes, or write the code in the "optional comment" box.
Note: If you upload only the code of a Physical gift card, it will be processed as an E-code.
Common Reasons for Rate Discrepancies
Gift cards/codes placed under the wrong sub-categories are appropriately reassigned on the system, and this may affect the final credited amount. Ensure to thoroughly review sub-categories when trading gift cards or codes.
Market demand fluctuations might affect rates for specific card/code types, like e-codes and horizontal gift cards.
